Name: Grant Haines
Website: https://gehaines.weebly.com/
Google scholar: Grant Haines
From: United States of America
Study: Postdoctoral, Hólar University
Project: Ecology, life history, and selection in small charr populations (Microevolutionary processes in small populations).
Research description: I study the population ecology, life history evolution, and environmental pressures on Arctic charr populations in cave ponds near Mývatn. I am constructing pedigrees using DNA collected during monitoring since 2012, and using them to determine the relative importance of random variation, population-specific factors, and shared environmental factors across the landscape in shaping selection in these ponds.
Advisors: Bjarni Kristófer Kristjánsson and Camille Leblanc
